Initially found and explored by Mick Nunwick, Geoff Yeadon and Alan Hewison on New Years’ Day of 1985, the Tate Galleries in the Lyle Cavern area of Lost Johns’ Cave were an important extension to the upstream end of the system, and are now a vital part of on of the Three Counties links forged in more modern times.
